Port Orchard, WA – The City Council took action last night, Tuesday March 21st, to accept the special event application for the 2023 South Kitsap Senior Graduation Parade and waived the 120 days required by code for processing.
This action was taken in an expedited manner because the application needs to be reviewed by City staff and a number of outside agencies.
Since the application was received after the close of the business day, Mayor Putaansuu and the City Council passed the hat and paid the application fee to ensure this special event permit can be processed as quickly as possible.
