Request for Comments on the City of Port Orchard's Stormwater Management Plan

The City of Port Orchard will be holding a public meeting Feb. 28th at 6pm in the City Council Chambers at 216 Prospect St. The purpose of this meeting to provide an opportunity to review, give feedback, and revise policy language in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. New regulatory requirements for the City’s Comprehensive Plan will be discussed, along with the opportunity to provide input on what policy updates the community feels are needed, given the growth and change throughout the City since the last major Comprehensive Plan Update in 2016. The City periodically provide updates at portorchardwa.gov/2024-comprehensive-plan-periodic-update with tentative timelines for deliverables, draft Elements, and completed work including the Existing Conditions Report and Public Participation Program.
