This is a public notice that the City of Port Orchard will conduct a public hearing on the following project:

Site Description: Location: 2843 Harold Drive SE, Port Orchard WA 98366 Nearest road intersection: Harold Drive SE and SE Lundberg Road. Assessor Parcel Number: 4625-000-004-0102
Description of Proposal: The proposal consists of a site-specific rezone of the subject property from Commercial Mixed Use (CMU) to Business Professional Mixed Use (BPMU). The subject property is currently developed with a single-family detached house which is not a permitted use in the CMU district. The BPMU designation allows detached houses as a permitted use and office uses but does not allow certain more intense uses otherwise permitted in the CMU district.
SEPA Threshold Determination: The City of Port Orchard issued a Determination of Non-Significance for the proposal on December 23, 2019, consistent with WAC 197-11.
Required Permits: No other permits are required at this time.
Applicable Code(s): Port Orchard Municipal Code Title 20, WAC 197-11 SEPA Rules.

JANUARY 30, 2020, 10:00 AM IN THE ROBERT GEIGER CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS LOCATED AT 216 PROSPECT STREET, PORT ORCHARD, WA
Review of Documents: A copy of the hearing record, including the application and supporting documents, are available for inspection by the public at no cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided at the requestor’s cost.
Comment Period: Any person may appear and provide public testimony or submit written comment until the close of record by the Hearing Examiner.
