Notice of Hearing, Abatement of a Dangerous Building at 1398 Canyon Lane
Notice is hereby given that the Port Orchard City Council will hold a public hearing during the regularly-scheduled meeting on March 27, 2018, at 6:30 pm, relative to the abatement of a dangerous building at 1398 Canyon Lane, completed in September-October, 2017.
At the hearing, the Council will consider the report of staff as to the action taken and the cost thereof. General public testimony will not be taken at the hearing, however, any person interested in or affected by the proposed charge may file a protest or objection to the report or costs.
To be considered at the hearing, any protests or objections must be submitted in writing to the City Clerk, 216 Prospect St, Port Orchard, WA 98366, prior to the hearing, and must state the grounds of such protest or objection.
At the conclusion of the hearing, the Council will confirm, amend, or reject the report and costs and determine whether the costs shall be charged as a personal obligation against the property owner of record at the time of the abatement. The decision of the Council shall be final and conclusive.
