8-26-16 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Port Orchard Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during a special meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., to take testimony on proposed amendments to the  Port Orchard Municipal Code Chapters 16.12, 16.13, 16.20, 16.30 and 16.40, to allow certain land uses on the ground floor and to delete the minimum residential unit size in the Downtown Overlay District; to remove the administrative nuisance abatement process for the View Protection Overlay District; and to make other minor clarifications and corrections. The draft ordinance is linked here, or can be viewed at the front counter of the Department of Community Development at 216 Propsect Street in Port Orchard.

Any person or public agency expressing an interest is invited to attend the public hearing, and/or submit written comments to DCD on or before 4:30 p.m., September 14, 2016.
