ORDINANCE AMENDING POMC CHAPTER 13.04
On Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:30 pm, the Port Orchard City Council will hold a public hearing by Zoom video conference on proposed amendments to Chapter 13.04 (Water and Sewers) of the Port Orchard Municipal Code (POMC), to take public testimony and comment on the proposed amendments.
The purpose of the Ordinance is to update the city’s process and standards for issuing sewer General Facility Fee (GFF) credits. The amendments include: clarify existing terminology regarding sewer charges and fees; indicating the timing for requesting GFF Credit for development of excess sewer capacity; requirements for an agreement between the City and the developer for GFF credit; instructions for how GFF credit amounts are determined; and details the process for approving a GFF credit.
The proposed amendments to Chapter 13.04 are included in the meeting packet for the February 9 City Council meeting, which is located on the City’s website at: https://www.portorchardwa.gov/city-council-meeting-agendas/.
