NovNovember 12 2019

6:30pm Port Orchard City Hall

216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366

On Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:30 pm, the Port Orchard City Council will hold a public hearing on the City’s 2019 Comprehensive Plan amendment package, to take public testimony and comment on the proposed amendments.

The amendment package includes:

  • The Public Works Department has updated the City’s 6-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for 2020-2025.

  • The appendices of the City’s Bethel and Sedgwick Corridor Plan have been added to Appendix B of the Comprehensive Plan.

  • The Centers section of the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Element has been updated for consistency with the Puget Sound Regional Council’s (PSRC) VISION 2040 Plan and other city codes and plans. Data has been added to the Centers section of the Land Use Element showing the current levels of activity units in each center based on a recent analysis by PSRC. As a result of this analysis, the Downtown and County Campus Centers have been listed as a candidate regional center.
