NOTICE OF HEARING

The City Council is holding a public hearing at its regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., regarding an ordinance to amend Port Orchard Municipal Code (POMC) 5.60 Fireworks. The proposed changes would move Fireworks Display permit fees to the Fee Schedules for Department of Community Development, remove the debris deposit and refund requirement, and change the definition of Fire Authority. Written comments will be accepted until 4pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The public may attend the hearing in person, by telephone, or Zoom. Dial in and Zoom information will be posted to the City’s website on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at www.portorchardwa.gov  Copies of the ordinance will be available on the City’s website on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
