NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is a public notice that the City of Port Orchard Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 6:00 pm on the City’s 2023 Comprehensive Plan amendment package, to take public testimony and comment on the proposed amendments. The hearing will be held remotely by Zoom webinar, and participants may join by computer audio-video or telephone audio.
The application will be processed as the City’s 2023 Comprehensive Plan amendment package. The City-Initiated Map Amendment Package includes: A Comprehensive Plan Map and Legislative Zoning Map amendment for the properties located along SE Meline Rd. The amendment would change the Comprehensive Plan future land use map designation of Commercial (COM) to Low Density Residential (LDR) and would change the zoning designation of Commercial Mixed Use (CMU) to Residential 1 (R1).
