NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is a public notice that the City of Port Orchard will conduct a public hearing both in-person at the Robert Geiger Council Chambers in City Hall at 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard WA 98366, and online at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84563443828 on January 29, 2026 at 10:00 am. File Name: McCormick Village West Residential Preliminary Plat. File Number: LU24-PLAT PRELIM-01. Application Type: Preliminary Plat (Type III). Applicant: Patrick Hopper, Contour Engineering LLC, PO Box 949, Gig Harbor WA 98335. Property Owner: McCormick Villages, LLC c/o Greg Krabbe, 805 Kirkland Ave, Suite 200, Kirkland WA 98033. Project is located east of Feigley Rd W and west of McCormick Village Drive, between SW Yarrow Street and SW Old Clifton Road in Section 05, Township 23, Range 1E (SE/4) of Kitsap County, Washington. Tax parcel #5695-000-084-0107. Project Description: Subdivision of resultant Lot 1 of short plat LU22-SP Final-01 into 78 Lots and 11 Tracts. Future development to include detached homes, backyard cottages, forecourt apartments, and carriage houses. SEPA Threshold Determination: The City of Port Orchard issued a Determination of Non-Significance for the proposal on March 3, 2023, consistent with WAC 197-11. Required Permits: The following local, state, and federal permits/approvals are needed for the proposed project: Preliminary Plat, Land Disturbing Activity Permit, Storm Drainage Permit, Capacity Reservation Certificates, Final Plat, and Building Permits. Applicable Code(s): Port Orchard Municipal Code Title 20, WAC 197-11 SEPA Rules. A copy of the record, including the application and supporting documents, is available for inspection by the public at no cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least five (5) working days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided at the requester’s cost.
