PORT ORCHARD, WA – (February 19, 2021) – McCormick Communities is commencing construction in February on a new street, Campus Pkwy, and associated round about intersection improvements on Old Clifton Road between McCormick Woods Drive and Feigley Road. Construction will continue through the summer of 2021.
Initial phases of construction in February and March will occur mostly outside of the roadway. Please drive cautiously and slow down through the construction zone. Flagging operations will be employed intermittently for limited delivery and in roadway operations to ensure public safety. Please keep in mind the speed limit may be changed from 35 MPH to 25 MPH.
This work is being provided for future planned development both East and West of Old Clifton Road and to meet City requirements to maintain traffic levels of service. The City has completed the design of another Roundabout project for the intersection at Old Clifton Rd. and Anderson Hill Rd and is applying for grant funding for this project. The City’s long term plans also include intersection improvements at McCormick Woods Drive and shoulder widening along Old Clifton Road.
