DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) FOR 2102 SEDGWICK MULTIFAMILY

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: Development proposal to construct nine (9) multifamily apartment buildings that will provide a total of 192 new residential apartment units. Associated improvements for the multifamily residential development will be constructed including parking, utilities, landscaping, and open-space areas. The project site is zoned Commercial Mixed Use (CMU). The size of the project site is 5.7 acres. APPLICATION NUMBERS: Land Disturbing Activity Permit PW22-032, Stormwater Drainage Permit PW22-033, Capacity Reservation Certificate PW22-034, Code Interpretation LU22-INTERPRETATION-01, Tax Exemption LU22-TAX EXEMPTION-04, Administrative Variance LU22-VAR ADMIN-01 PROPONENT: Rush Development Company, Inc., Attn: Steve Yester, 6622 Wollochet Dr., Gig Harbor, WA 98335 LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: 2102 SE Sedgwick Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366, Parcel No. 122301-2-094-2007 LEAD AGENCY: City of Port Orchard SEPA DETERMINATION The City of Port Orchard, as lead agency for this proposal, after reviewing a completed environmental checklist and other information on file, has determined that the proposed project does not have a probable adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). Information on file for this proposed project is available to the public on request to the lead agency. This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued December 23, 2022 under WAC 197-11-340 and Port Orchard Municipal Code (POMC) Title 20. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue. Comments must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., on January 6, 2023, 14 days from the date of this notice.
