DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS)

PROJECT: Amici House Conditional Use Permit

PERMIT APPLICATIONS: LU23-CUP-01, PW23-002. Location OF PROPOSAL: 902 Dekalb Street, Port Orchard, parcel number 4053-005-002-0005. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: establish a Congregate Living Facility with 22 sleeping units, 5 shared bathroom facilities, 2 resident director suites, one large shared kitchen, and two smaller shared kitchen spaces. “Congregate living facilities” means a building or part thereof that contains sleeping units where nontransient residents share bathroom or kitchen facilities, or both. DETERMINATION: The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). The decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request. This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued March 10, 2023 under WAC 197-11-340 and POMC Title 20. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issuance. Comments must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., on March 24, 2023, 14 days from the date of this notice.
