The City’s Contractor is currently working on Sidney Ave sawcutting for pavement repair work. Sawcutting will be completed on Wednesday, September 3rd, with the pavement repairs beginning the following week. When the pavement repairs begin, the work will include removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement. In addition, pavement repairs are scheduled to take place on Prospect Street, in front of City Hall, on Thursday, September 4th. Additional information on access to City Hall during construction will be provided early next week.
As construction continues, the City is coordinating with the South Kitsap School District to minimize impacts to school access during pick-up and drop-off times.
