Continuing road work on Bay Street is causing traffic delays and congestion.
Current day and nighttime work for roadway frontage improvements associated with the development at 429 Bay Street is estimated to be completed by 6pm on Thursday, October 30th. Bay Street is reduced to one lane with a temporary traffic signal providing traffic control operations through the work zone. Temporary signals are placed on both directions of Bay Street and Port Orchard Boulevard.
Bay Street will fully reopen after this work is completed.
Next week, Puget Sound Energy will be performing utility work in the same area of Bay Street from 8pm to 5am Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th. Bay Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers providing traffic control.
We recommend using alternate routes during construction.
