About the Program
The City, in coordination with its contractor solid waste service provider Waste Management, sets an annual Clean-up week in the spring. During this week, city residents are provided an efficient means, through curb-side pick-up of additional solid waste items and goods (i.e., appliances) by city staff and Waste Management in addition to the regular refuse pick-up by Waste Management.
The City of Port Orchard has hosted a clean-up event since the early 1990s, consistently providing this vital service for its residents. For this program, the City has coordinated with its solid waste providers, beginning with Brem-Air and now with Waste Management.
The program event will typically be during the month of April.
